Independent Candidate for House of Representatives

Both the main parties have lost their way while chasing dreams of cultural dominance. I am therefore seeking the office in order to represent my own interests. As it happens, I think there are enough voters in this district whose interests coincide with mine to win election to the seat. These voters inhabit the frequently ignored territory in the center of the political spectrum. They view results as being more important than ideology. They acknowledge that either main party is capable of being right sometimes, and sometimes quite wrong.

Honesty is the best policy. The last thing that we need right now is yet another politician trying to be all things to all people. It is certain that some individuals will disapprove of some of my views on various subjects. I sincerely hope it will be possible for us to differ without having to hate one other.
